Hot Athiya Shetty is set to make her debut opposite another debutant Suraj Pancholi in Jackie Shroff's and Meenakshi Sheshadri's remake of the 1983-blockbuster Hero which was directed by Subhash Ghai

Athiya Shetty was born on November 5, 1992 in Mumbai. [3] His father hails from the Bunt community, [4] and her mother is of Gujarati and Punjabi descent. [5] [6] She has a younger brother, Ahan (born 1996).

At age 18, he completed a course in filmmaking at the Film Academy in New York.

Shetty is set to make his debut against another newcomer Suraj Pancholi Jackie Shroff and the remake of Meenakshi Sheshadri Hero 1983-blockbuster which was directed by Subhash Ghai. The film is scheduled for release on 11 September 2015. The first look of the film is out and has been produced by Salman Khan and marks the debut of both the main actors. The trailer for the film was released by Salman Khan, director Subhash Ghai and director Nikhil Advani. Shetty's role in the film is a bubbly girl who is said to be strongly inspired by the character of Kareena Kapoor in Jab We Met.
