Actress Anne Hathaway was born in Brooklyn, New York, on November 12, 1982. When he was young, he was accepted at the Barrow Group Theater Company. In 1999, he got his first big break in the short-lived television series Get Real. Shortly after the series ended, Hathaway took landed the role that made her famous, playing Mia Thermopolis in The Princess Diaries. In 2006, he met with great success with the film The Devil Wears Prada (2006). In 2007, he starred in Becoming Jane, a film about Jane Austen. Hathaway then called the attention of both critical and commercial for his role in Love and Other Drugs, 2010, due in large part to her nude scenes in the film, and won acclaim or later film appearances, including The Dark Knight Rises and Les Miserables (both published in 2012).

Hathaway began dating Italian real estate developer Raffaello Follieri in 2004. The couple separated in June 2008, after officials accused lawyer Follieri of defrauding investors out of millions and falsely claiming that the Vatican appointed him to manage its financial affairs .

Hathaway married the actor and jewelry designer Adam Shulman, 29 September 2012. The couple had been dating for four years at the time. "I'm really in love with him, [only] Adam totally ruined my plan. I was really really looking forward to some time alone, and then I fell in love like a fool!" Hathaway recently Shulman said, according to People magazine. She added: "We have house parties and dinner parties and hang out I'm so delighted by [Adam] He is all the things you want a partner that is I find joy in your presence.... "

Besides acting, Hathaway supports several charities, including the Step Up Women's Network and the Lollipop Theater Network. He currently lives in New York City.
